Students completing MATH 162 and MATH 171 will be best prepared to transfer to baccalaureate programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business . Terry College

There is much to be said for being a generalist in a sea of specialists who have focused on doing only one thing. Approximately, 30% of our new freshmen will come in as General Business because they know they want to study business, but they are not sure of which area. The course acquaints students with a variety of supply chain management key concepts, to include purchasing, logistics, competitiveness, location, inventory, forecasting, layout, production and operations management concepts and techniques. General Business Comprehensive

Eligible Missouri State undergraduate students may apply for admission to the Master of Business Administration program and begin taking graduate course work as they complete the work for a bachelor’s degree. A maximum of 12 hours of graduate credit may be counted toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree . A minimum of 120 credit hours are required to earn the Bachelor of Business Administration General Business Major. The selection of one of two tracks is also required and students must complete 33 credit hours of 300 or 400 level courses to satisfy the General Business Major required electives. The Online Track provides a flexible, online business education experience which supports full-time or part-time working professionals.

Students can select business courses from a variety of business disciplines such as real estate, marketing, management, accounting and additional business areas. The Business - General program is specifically designed to prepare students to transfer to a four-year business school. The program allows students to transfer to a variety of business programs, including Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, or other business areas. It provides the fundamental knowledge necessary to be a successful business student with the ultimate goal of graduation from a business transfer institution and finding employment in the business field.
